How to use the caliper alignment tool for service of the brake calipers
Tools Needed
- Isopropyl
- Q-tips or small brush
- Hex or screw driver to loosen the brake capliper screws and remove the brake pad bolt
- Plastic lever or special brake service tool
Service Steps
- Loosen the brake caliper bolts, do not remove the wheel (all pistons are in the pushed back position)
- Disassemble the pads
- Insert the Tool Block CA-1, the caliper align automatically during instertion with the rotor guiding
- Tighten the brake caliper bolts
- Remove the wheel first, than remove the block
- Assemble the pads on the caliper
- Fit the wheel onto the frame/fork
